TAXES

Galveston rentals are taxed at 15%. Treasure Island rentals are taxed at 6%. These Hotel/Motel Occupancy taxes are added to each rental per state and local authority.

FEES

A $100 non-refundable pet fee is added to each rental that brings a pet to a pet allowable home. All fees are taxable at the above rates.

INSURANCE

We strongly believe that your vacation investment should be covered by travel insurance and have therefore partnered with Travel-Guard® to offer a comprehensive travel insurance product. The insurance is optional, but we recommend it so that you may be financially reimbursed in case of unforeseen events. This will protect you against the common things we find preventing guests from arriving on their scheduled trip, such as sickness, weather, and job loss. The protection will continue for you while you are on your trip and offer primary medical insurance, baggage delay, and an invaluable 24-hour customer service line for any emergency or concierge needs while you are traveling. The All Seasons Travel Plan reimburses the rental rates & taxes paid for the home you reserved. It does not cover the insurance premium. Claims are filed directly with Travel Guard. SECURITY DEPOSIT

CENTURY 21 Bay Reef Realty, offers accidental rental damage insurance to our guests for a non-refundable cost of $69.00. The Accidental Rental Insurance covers the guest for up to $3000.00 if the property or its contents are damaged during the guest's stay, subject to reductions, limitations, exclusion, and termination provisions, if caused by a registered guest. 

You must notify us of any damage or theft to the unit during your occupancy, or this plan is void and you will be held responsible for any damage to the unit.

Agent, or Agent's representative, will inspect property upon Tenant's departure and will bill for all costs for damages due to extra cleaning, repairs, or replacements not reported to CENTURY 21 Bay Reef Realty. Tax must be charged on the assessed damage. If the cost of the damages is indeterminable by the time of departure, the tenant shall remain responsible for ALL such costs and agrees to pay promptly when notified by Agent of assessed amount. Rearranging of furniture and/or disconnection of TV or stereo components are not permitted. TENANT MUST LEAVE PROPERTY CLEAN AND READY FOR THE NEXT GUEST, ALL DISHES WASHED AND PUT AWAY, ALL FOOD REMOVED FROM REFRIGERATOR AND ALL TRASH REMOVED FROM HOME, ALL BEDS MADE PRIOR TO DEPARTURE AT CHECK OUT.

Security Deposits, if required, must be paid in CASH, money order, or cashier's check, upon check in. Security deposits will be returned to the Guest of record ONLY. Security deposits will be postmarked after 14 business day from the date of departure for any rental less than 30 days. Security deposits will be postmarked after 30 business day from the date of departure for any rental longer than 30 days. Damages and charges will be deducted from the security deposit consistent with Texas law. Your personal information may be shared with www.GuestChecker.com, as behavior warrants.
